Panic Attacks Workbook Discussion Group

This group is for people who want the support and extra help of a discussion group as they use Dr. Carbonell's workbook to overcome panic attacks and phobias.

Dr. Carbonell will lead the discussion for ten meetings, conducted via telephone conference call. Each meeting will focus on a key principle or method from the book. The aim of the discussion is to help people better understand, and use, the recovery methods outlined in the book; to find ways around obstacles and misunderstandings; and to benefit from mutual support. Each meeting will last one hour, and is attended by simply dialing in to a prearranged telephone number; no operator assistance is required.

This is not a therapy group, nor a replacement for therapy. It is open both to people who are working with a professional therapist, and to those who are working on their own. The only requirement is a desire to discuss, and better understand how to use, the methods described in Dr. Carbonell's Panic Attacks Workbook: A Guided Program for Beating the Panic Trick.

The cost to attend the ten meetings is $250. Members will also have free access to an e-mail listserv, which they can use to communicate amongst themselves during the life of the group and thereafter.
